Saturdays pool play for the Kickoff Classic (Click HERE to see the results) was canceled due to all the rain we got the night before.  Each team played 3 games and the winner was determined by number of points base on 2 points for a win, 1 for a tie and the tie breaker was the number of runs given up.  It is really a shame that this tournament did not get to play itself out.  If I had to bet it would have come down to the Cougars and Pegasus.  The Cougars combined score for the three games was 24-1 with two three inning games that ended 12-0 versus the Freedom Firebirds and the Lutherville Nightmare.  Their only lose was a  close one with a score of 1-0 versus Pegasus who had two girls from the Shamrocks playing on their team, one was the pitcher.
